NTCIP 2102   Point to Multi-Point Protocol Using FSK Modem Subnetwork Profile
This standard defines how to communicate over twisted wire using FSK modems. It may be used with any Transport Profile. Ito provides the information necessary to establish a connection using the Point-to-MultiPoint Protocol (PMPP) via a 1200 bps frequency shift keying (FSK) modem interface. It is used to manage connected devices that coexist on a common channel.

NTCIP 2103   Point-to-Point Protocol Over RS-232 Subnetwork Profile
A subnetwork profile that defines requirements for the data link and physical layers of a communications stack. It specifies the rules and procedures for using the point-to-point protocol over RS-232 related circuits. The intent is to provide an interoperability standard for transportation-related devices that communicate over dial-up circuits. (Formerly TS 3.SP-PPP/RS232)

NTCIP 2104   Ethernet Subnetwork Profile
A subnetwork profile that defines requirements for the data link and physical layers of a communications stack. It specifies the rules and procedures for using the IEEE Link Layer Control (802.2) and Media Access Control (802.3) protocols over coaxial, twisted pair, or fiberoptic media. The intent is to provide an interoperability standard for transportation-related devices that communicate over local area network (LAN) interfaces. (Formerly TS 3.SP-Ethernet)

NTCIP 2201   Transportation Transport Profile
This standard defines a bandwidth efficient transport profile that is a combination of standards to transmit data when the subject devices are directly connected to the central controller or computer and do not require network services.
