SAE J2945/5_202002   Service Specific Permissions and Security Guidelines for Connected Vehicle Applications
This document establishes a security systems engineering process that can be used by future application specifiers to (1) determine which fields and activities should be subject to SSP constraints, and (2) specify a syntax and semantics for the SSPs for that application. It also addresses the development of SSPs for scenarios not addressed in the original application specification; for example, arising from regional extensions, changes in application functionality, or future expansions of the base SAE J2735 standard.

SAE J2945/6   Performance Requirements for Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control and Platooning
This standard provides recommendations for enhancements to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) by the addition of wireless communication from relevant vehicles (V2V) and/or the infrastructure (I2V) to augment the ACC active sensing capability. This standard may result in identifying new message, data frames and data elements in SAE J2735. The initial release covers definitions for Cooperative ACC (CACC) and platooning and requirements for CACC, while a subsequent release will cover the platooning requirements.

SAE J2945/A   Standard for Lane-Level and Road Furniture Mapping for Infrastructure-based V2X Applications
This standard will define new map message formats that to better support new use cases that are difficult to meet with the existing SAE J2735 defined MAP message. It will provide a generalized solution that can be applied to future infrastructure-based application standards using a layering approach, so that each new application standard at most needs to define a new layer of information that is unique to specific V2X application.

SAE J2945/C   Traffic Probe Use and Operation
This standard will define how probe data is used within the traffic system infrastructure, the mechanisms for collecting probe data and relevant performance metrics.

SAE J3067_201408   Candidate Improvements to Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) Message Set Dictionary [SAE J2735] Using Systems Engineering Methods
This information report specifies dialogs, messages, and the data frames and data elements that make up the messages specifically for use by applications intended to utilize the 5.9 GHz DSRC.

SAE J3216   Taxonomy and Definitions for Terms Related to Cooperative Driving Automation for On-Road Motor Vehicles
This document describes machine-to-machine (M2M) communication to enable cooperation between a subject vehicle and other participants. The cooperation supports or enables performance of the Dynamic Driving Task (DDT) for a subject vehicle with driving automation feature(s) engaged. Other participants may include other vehicles with driving automation feature(s) engaged, shared road users (e.g., manually operated vehicles or personal devices) or infrastructure owners and operators (e.g., traffic signals, work zones).
